(My chocolate cake, the recipe of which I have created myself and that I preserve jealously in a safe, encrypted in a mix of three different alphabets, for my future daughter. Unless, you know, a food company wants to buy it from me for a few million dollars. I'm sure my future daughter then will be able to console herself from not having the exclusivity with a pair of shoes. Who says she'll like to cook anyways?! And by all means, I might end up with a bunch of redheaded boys à la Lynette Scavo. We'll see.)
I also got my own domain name, which you'll tell me isn't a big deal (10$), but you need to hear the story of how Google bugged on me for a few days and told me the domain was not available, leading to a major Mademoiselle freak-out.
I may not have posted as much as others, but for a first year, I am happy with what I've achieved. It is not yet a full-time project/job, but maybe someday it will be. I may not have as many followers and hits as others, but I am grateful for every visitor and comment. I am happy for anyone who may have found ideas and inspiration from what I write.
So I raise my glass (of Venti ice green tea with sparkling water and two splenda... But we'll pretend it's Champagne) to my friends, my readers, and the blogosphere!
